Floorball has really taken off in some parts of the UK. Find out what's happening in Gloucestershire in the floorball case study.

Floorball encourages young sports fanatics as well those who would normally ignore sporting activities to take part in a competitive sport because:

- Floorball is fast and fun but safe. Players don’t even wear shin pads.
- The bench penalty system (2 minutes or 5 minutes) encourages safe play.
- Unlimited substitutions during a game means that the less energetic players can still take part in a fast action sport as they can decide themselves when they need a break.

For some small primary schools to be able to enter 2 or 3 teams each in the Cotswold’s league proves the mass appeal of this new sport to boys and girls alike. Read all about it in the new case study document on the right.
