Floorball is easy for children and teachers or Scout leaders to learn. And it's easy on the school or organisation too, the low cost of equipment and simple rules means that introducing floorball either during PE lessons or as an after school club is very simple. It makes a great 'bad weather' sport and has proved very successful at getting children who don't normally take part willingly in competitive sports to enjoy themselves. After all, everyone's a beginner!
Most schools already have 'unihoc' sticks, so all you probably need to buy are some correct size balls (72mm diameter) and some goals. You don't need special goals to start with, a couple of cones will do or use any type of goal that is between 1 and 2 metres wide and half the height. School benches can be placed across the corners of your sports hall if you have any other equipment in there that cannot be moved easily.
