Match Report of the Final by Patris Radmand:

Cobras led 1-0 until about 5 minutes into the final period! LV had until then bombarded the CC goal with no luck. CC had defended very well and had one or two chances to go 2-0 up!

Anyway, LV scored; and soon after scored another. Then CC came out to attack as they were behind and LV had more space when counter attaching; scoring regularly until the end. I think the final score was 5-1 to LV.

The Vipers were not on best form with their first goalkeeper absent due to house moving and then the reserve goalie pulling out with only 24 hours to go. Outfield players were kitted out and did the best they could. The Vipersfinished 6th:

The biggest game of the whole tournament was the semi-final between London Vikings and Merseyside Ravens. The pace and skill of the match gradually brought the whole championships to a halt as everyone in the building migrated to the rinkside to see what was unfolding.

The Ravens were 5-1 down against the ex-British champions and then fought (almost literally) back to a 6-5 lead when, in the last few moments, the Vikings scored an equaliser.

After the toss to decide the order of penalties, the Ravens finally lost to the Vikings in a tense shoot out. A spontaneous round of applause from the crowd showed the respect that was due to everyone involved in what had been a truly awesome battle.

There was no love lost when Merseyside Ravens met the Scottish team Chapel. At one point seven, yes seven, players were sent off, 4 from Chapel and 3 from Ravens.
