It's time for all parents to fill out this season's membership form to enable us to play in floorball tournaments. The fee of £10 covers the whole year and all goes to developing floorball in the UK and running the competitions.

APRIL 2012 NEWS
The latest club newsletter is now out.

Congratulations to our two top shots in our speed shooting competition with the speed gun we borrowed: Markus from the Fireballs (age 13) hit the ball at 74mph/118kph and Tom Wilde (age 11) from the Shooting Stars made 66mph/106kph.

The next youth league fixture on 27/5 will take place in the same sports hall as the adult national championshipsat the Birmingham Futsal Arena B19 2LF, letting the youngsters see the best adult players in the UK in action. It's free to watch for spectators too. For more info click <here>.

NOVEMBER NEWS

We would like all parents to fill out fresh membership and parental consent forms and bring them along to training as we need to have up to date medical information etc.

We will have a guest coach from the London Vikings at Farnham on 3rd Dec and there will be a stand selling sticks.

ABOUT THE CLUB

Floorball which is also known as unihockey is Britain's latest sport and was only registered in the UK in 2008! The Farnham Fireballs team is for 11-15 year olds and we meet at 5:30pm each term-time Saturday. The Farnham Shooting Stars is for youngsters from 7 to 11 and they meet at 4:30pm. Both teams play at Farnham Sports Centre, Dogflud Way, Farnham, Surrey GU9 7UD.

Floorball is easy to learn and you can pick it up in minutes. Parents love it too because the first session is free (£5/week or £35 for one school term, annual membership £15), so just turn up wearing shorts and trainers and have a go! The club is open to both boys and girls and the teams, like the sport, are mixed.

THE ISE TROPHIES

The ISE Trophies are awarded each week to the player who has shown the most Improvement, Skills or sheer effort. There's one trophy for the Fireballs and one for the Shooting Stars.
